Joint venture partner Hive Energy visited DBG Bio Energy team in Amsterdam as first site for production is confirmed

AMSTERDAM, October 26 & 27, 2021. With the recent announcement for the lease of the first site, DBG Bio Energy welcomed the UK based Hive Energy team in Amsterdam for a two-day visit.

Hive Energy CEO Giles Redpath, DBG Bio Energy CEO Berkay Güres and their respective teams discussed a number of issues during the official Board Meeting. They also deepened the business relationship by exploring future opportunities in the area of alternative energy sources and other green end products in a European and pan European context.

On the second day of the visit, board members of Hive Energy and DBG Bio Energy visited the first Dutch bio-LNG plant of DBG partner Nordsol in Amsterdam. The founding partner & Managing Director Jerom van Roosmalen took them for a tour through the Nordsol bio-LNG plant in Amsterdam Westpoort. The visit to the Nordsol bio-LNG plant was very relevant, because recently Nordsol became part of the DBG Bio Energy construction team and will construct the DBG Bio Energy bio-LNG installation that is planned to be operational in Delfzijl by the end of 2022.

Hive Energy CEO Giles Redpath and DBG CEO Berkay Güres both concluded the two-day visit by saying, “It was extraordinary to have met after such a long time, and to be able to see the great energy and business potential for the business from all the DBG Bio Energy team. A win-win relationship for both and meaningful in building a greener future for all of us.”
