DBG Bio Energy B.V. appoints Harm Beerda as Head of Engineering
Harm has recently joined the DBG Bio Energy B.V. team as Head of Engineering and carries the responsibility of realizing the DBG Bio Energy projects in, and outside, the Netherlands.
As member of the leadership management team, he is involved in preparing the site locations, the design of the plants, the selection and supervision of technology providers, the EPC contractor, the logistics on site, the coordination of relevant stakeholders and other crucial activities related to realizing five DBG bio energy and organic fertilizer plants in the next five years.
For over 20 years, Harm has been active as an Engineer, Project Manager and Director within Ballast Nedam. He has realized some prestigious projects within the Netherlands, as well as in countries like UK, Bahrain, Germany, Indonesia and Malaysia. After this role, he was CEO of Koninklijke Oosterhof Holman, a position he fulfilled for more than 21 years.
Both Dutch companies provided Harm with an extensive experience in Engineering and Projectmanagement.

Harm holds a Civil Engineering Master’s degree of the Delft University of Technology, and is currently chairman of the Supervisory Board of the “Waterbedrijf Groningen” as well as holding the position of “ambassador of Circular Friesland”.
