Doctor Murat Balaban appointed to consult for DBG Bio Energy B. V.

05 August, 2021: Doctor Murat Balaban, Co-founder and Executive Chairman of Episome Biotechnologies, has agreed to consult for DBG Bio Energy B.V.  In his consultation role, he will provide counsel, advice and expert knowledge with a specific focus on the patented enzymatic process, which prepares the industrial waste stream feedstock for the Anaerobic Digestion process, and its subsequent processing into BioLNG, CO2 and green fertiliser products.

Doctor Balaban has an extensive background in research, bioscience and medicine.  He has completed doctoral and post-doctoral research in a number of areas, such as Recombinant Bacterial Cellulase Production for Biofuel production and the characterization of transformation pseudopilus of Streptococcus pneumoniae . He holds a number of related patents and has published a number of publications, such as the “use of a cellulose hydrolysate for biogas production”.
